Ron Holmes concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer bankruptcy law and small business bankruptcies. He serves clients throughout the state of New Mexico.

A native New Mexican, Mr. Holmes grew up in Alamogordo. He earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996, and his B.A. in Political Science and Economics also from the University of New Mexico in 1991.

Mr. Holmes faithfully served on the Bankruptcy Section Board of Directors from 2001 to 2010, has served as Secretary and is the past Chairman of the Board (2004). Mr. Holmes is also a former Bankruptcy Trustee.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Holmes is an active licensed real estate broker and Realtor®.

Mr. Holmes is the chair-elect for the Board of Directors for the J. Reuben Clark Law Society Albuquerque Chapter, a member of the Greater Albuquerque Area Board of Realtors and a long member of the Albuquerque Bar Association.
